This is the account form, not the Week 1 report. If it is still incomplete, finish it on Canvas before you spend time on the playground. Week 1 is due Tuesday 8 September, 17:00.

Before you submit

  1. Create a GitHub account at github.com/signup.
  2. Start the free GitHub Education application.
  3. If a page asks for a credit card or a Copilot trial, close it. Do not purchase anything.
  4. Paste the six-line form on Canvas. Open your profile URL and confirm it loads.

Why this is on Canvas

The instructor uses your username to create a private repository and add you as a collaborator. Accept the GitHub invite when it arrives. Complete / incomplete only; omitted from the final grade.
